Campylobacter: There is some controversy about whether or not to treat campylobacter with antibiotics. Antibiotics do not shorten the course of the illness. Discuss with her doctor whether or not antibiotics are warranted as diarrhea has resolved.

Campylobacteriosis: This must be discussed with her doctor. Although Campylobacter infections often just require liquid & electrolyte replacement, antibiotics are sometimes indicated early on in more severe cases. Consult with her doctor.
