Go to doctors: The cartilage or meniscus pads the knee joint. You may have a partial tear of the medial meniscus. Since you are young the history and more information is needed. Maybe just sprained the medial collateral ligament but that usually does not happen just getting up to stand. Go to a doctor- knee weakness, may need medication, crutches,MRI.

Meniscus or Ligament: This could be a medial meniscus tear or an injury to the Medial collateral ligament. I would get this evaluated by an orthopedic surgeon.
