It happens: The muscles involved in coughing (diaphragm, abdominal) are also involved in vomiting & a young infant or toddler can often not separate the two. Many that have a lot of excess mucous will also swallow this during the illness & bring it up that way. As they get older they have more ability to separate the two. Most of these are minor & self heal.If she can keep up with her fluid needs,should be ok

Vomiting: Have her assessed. There are multiple reasons why this symptom occurs; both simple and complicated. She will also be assessed for dehydration as well as the cause. She may need IV fluids and other testing based on her exam. It may be as simple as a medication for vomiting and an oral fluid challenge. It is impossible to know without having her checked.
