Ciprodex otic safe: According to Lactmed, "maternal use of an ear drop or eye drop that contains ciprofloxacin presents negligible risk for the nursing infant." The dex in ciprodex is dexamethasone, it is also negligible risk for the breastfeeding infant due to small dosage of medication. Ciprodex is safe to use while breastfeeding.
