May take awhile: Hi BShetty, The bowel prep for a colonoscopy can be very challenging to take. Because the goal is to clear your colon of stool completely, the regimen is very aggressive and you may be having bowel movements almost continuously until it is just clear liquid coming out. Depending on the regimen, you may also experience residual cramping as the effects of the laxative wear off. Hope this helps.
