Follow doctor advice: Almost all HPV infections go away, cleared by the immune system. That includes "high risk" HPV types, including HPV16. There are no drug treatments that help; don't waste money on drugs. But if HPV16 has been diagnosed at your cervix and you also have an abnormal pap smear, definitely follow your doctor's advice about possible treatment (cryotherapy, cautery, LEEP, etc) and follow-up. Good luck!
