Boil: Most MDs prefer to give antibiotics after the end of the first trimester for baby's health: talk to your MD to see if the boiil can be lanced and if that medicine is safe: Ampicillin is an FDA Pregnancy Category B drug, meaning animal studies indicate there is no risk to animal fetus, but there are no human studies showing it's safe for an unborn baby.
