No risk, no worry: Human T lymphtropic virus (HTLV) is rare. Although it can be sexually transmitted, most cases are not from sex; the exact source usually is not known. Oral sex is not known to transmit HTLV, although it might be possible. HTLV sometimes causes certain cancers or other symptoms, but the large majority of infections never cause symptoms or disease. This is nothing to be worried about.
