May be from Kidneys: Pain on right side back below the ribs may be coming from the kidney,or could be muscular pain.Need detailed history as to if there is fever,pain or frequency of urination,or blood in urine.Since it is sharp pain and if continues i suggest you get it checked by your MD.Or go to ER if it persists
