Get tested: Excessive urination, excessive thirst and increased appetite. It is not a good idea to wait for symptoms of diabetes as it can be diagnosed with a simple blood test. See this site for symptoms and other info. http://www.johnshopkinshealthalerts.com/symptoms_remedies/diabetes_mellitus/86-1.html.

Which type?: What age group? Excessive thirst and hunger, frequent urination, weight loss if going on for sometime. Unfortunately, diabetes often has not symptoms and many believe they are fine. Its a silent disease.
