Ovaries present?: If only the Fallopian tubes were removed and not the ovaries, your periods should continue unabated. However, if the ovaries themselves were removed or their blood supply was interrupted then the period will cease. The brown discharge is probably the beginnings of, if not, the period itself. Consult with your GYN surgeon if these issues continue.
