Thumb pain: May be tendinitis like deQuervains tenosynovitis. Could try thumb spica splint , motrin , kinesiotape ice 5-10 minute on 3-4 times a day. Rest no active motion like texting with the thumb. F/u/ w/ doc as there are more meds a doc can give.
