Elevated CRP: An elevate CRP is a marker of systemic inflammation. It may be in a number of diseases. When this occurs in the setting of joint pain, we want to make sure there are no signs of arthritis or other joint disease. I recommend seeing a rheumatologist and would be happy to do a consult if needed.
