Something is wrong: You have a high White blood Cell Count(WBC); normally it runs from 4000 to 10,000. Your chest pain may reflect something is going on in your lung and the high WBC may be due to this problem. You should go see your doctor who can recheck your WBC count and get a chest X-ray to make sure you do not a have a serious chest infection(pneumonia) or another lung ailment.
