A member asked:

Lots of campbell de morgan spots on my body.i'm 16 years old ,97 kg(213 pounds). on arms they are small, they are big on the legs.is it dangerous?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Not dangerous: Campbell de Morgan spots or cherry angiomas are common and benign. They are more common after a hormone burst such as puperty or pregnancy but also increase with age, esp after 40. They are benign, but if scratched, may bleed profusely. Removal is considered cosmetic and at this point is done with electrocautery or laser, but drug treatment is under research and may be available in the future.
