Nostril infection: Most likely there, is an infection in the hair follicles in the nostrils. There are painful, the nostril wall is very tender, and sometimes there is swelling of the nostril wall. Often responds to antibiotic ointment but if not may need oral antibiotics . Do not squeeze as bacteria can be forced into the blood stream between the back of the eyes.
