Better to be safe!: If you have chest discomfort which lasts for more than a few minutes and is concerning to you, you should seek immediate medical attention. Chest sensations and shortness of breath occurring with exertion may represent a heart condition, asthma, or being out of shape. There are many causes and some are not serious but others can be fatal so please get checked out.
