A member asked:

How difficult is clostomy closure when stump is only 6cm long?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Depends: This depends on many things. Anatomy, obesity, male pelvis can be very narrow, how long a time between surgeries, amount of scarring and inflammation, reason of prior surgery (infection vs. Cancer), overall health, etc. Many variables. Should be successful. Review with your surgeon their expectations.
