5- alpha reductase: There are 3 types of this enzyme. Finasteride inhibits 2 of them. Dutasteride inhibits 3. Dutasteride is superior. The least expensive therapy is to get 5mg finasteride and a pill cutter. Cut the pills into 4 pieces and take 1` piece a day.
