Wean: Neonatal abstinence syndrome ( withdrawal) is an expected and treatable condition that follows prenatal exposure to opioid agonists such as Norco. However why not get off these medications and spare the baby and spare you the worry? I would work with your Prescriber to wean you off this medication now. You do not need to have a baby born with the potential to have withdrawal at birth.
