Either way an examination with a Dr is advisable.

See a Dr asap: Your friend sounds unwell. It could be due to something simple like a pinched nerve or something more worrying such as a viral illness causing paralysis of her muscles. This needs to be seen urgently and I will recommend that your friend is taken to the nearest Accident and Medical Clinic as soon as possible
