Vaginal pain: A burning area on the inside lip of the vagina requires and examination to confirm the diagnosis. A small tear or traumatic injury from intercourse is certainly one possibility. Herpes infection is always a concern when a patient describes an area of vaginal pain. See an Obgyn to have an examination done.
