Varies: Cervical mucous is not really something one has to monitor. Some choose to monitor as a tool for predicting ovulation when thin egg white mucous appears mid cycle. Before a period most would experience none or stickier, creamy discharge. If you feel your discharge is abnormal for you see a doctor for infection testing.
