Medical evaluation: Persistent pain in the abdomen requires a medical check up to find the cause. There can be many reasons for it such as gall stones, kidney stones, intestinal block caused by tumors and many others. You need a physical examination and imaging tests(X-rays, scans etc) to be done by your primary care/family doctor.
