See derm: Scalp sores are not part of lupus and thus you need to consult a dermatologist. Stress tends to worsen just about everything.

Lumps and bumps: Knotty muscles can arise during stress. Rashes can also create red, itchy bumps. Start by taking medications as directed and work with your doctor to get your lupus under control. Active disease is an additional major stressor. Your knots may be some of both.
