Stretch marks vit E: Putting vitamin e on stretch marks unfortunately will not improve stretch marks. One can develop an allergic contact dermatitis to vitamin e that is applied to the skin. That would result in a red, itchy rash. I would advise against putting vitamin e on the skin. Whether stretch marks appear has to do with hormones and genetics. There is no good way of preventing them.
