Side effect: sweating can be a side effect of steroids. they may have prescribed it due to audible wheezing on lung exam or perhaps they thought the bronchitis was triggered by allergies and steroids will simmer down the allergic response (mucosal thickening, increased mucous production, sneezing, congestion, watery eyes). Don't worry about a little sweating if you are getting better
