I have uterine fibroids and my hair is not growing any more , can the bleeding and fibroids causing this ?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Hair and fibroids: Fibroids can result in heavier menstrual bleeding and irregular bleeding. This can cause iron deficiency which can lead to hair shedding and hair loss. Supplementing with iron has to be done carefully because too much iron can be harmful to the liver. There are other potential causes of hair loss or appearance of hair not growing. Please have your doctor check your iron levels and do a checkup.
