are there any negative affects in using panax ginseng in the long-term? (more than six months)

There is no science: to support the use of Panax Ginseng although there are many claims of benefit across a broad range of human ailments. Long term ingestion has therefore not been studied. Like any herbal or nutritional product of this nature there is no guide to usage. Ask yourself, if it is as great as it is touted to be, don't you think everyone would be using it?
