No! Call your OB: Call your OB doc tomorrow about the itching. Do not induce labor with castor oil. You may not get the effect you want and it may end up not being good for the baby or you. Avoid all fragrances and harsh soaps as they will make itching worse. Use unscented detergents, soaps lotions, no fabric softeners. Avoid hot water. Don't over-scrub your skin. Pat dry and moisturize.

No: Emphatically no! Pregnancy and childbirth are still under the control of Mother Nature's timing. Moreover, your OB MD needs to be aware of your itching just in case it is an allergic response to any medication that has been taken. Most allergic responses usually involve a rash or hives. Talk to your treating OB MD soon.
