How many castor oil capsules do i need to take to induce my labor at 40 weeks? i'm scheduled for induction and would rather labor at home.

None: Castor oil is not recommended as it does not work to induce labor. It will on the other hand give you very unpleasant diarrhea. If you do not want to be induced discuss with your doctor whether or not an induction is medically necessary in your situation.
