Avoid alcohol: These are uncommon effects of alcohol, however may be an adverse reaction. I do not understand how alcohol would cause joint clicking, but if you are having lower back pain it could mean you are not able to tolerate any alcohol. Unfortunately, alcohol has been linked to pancreatitis and nausea and vomiting. You should avoid it completely due to these risks and symptoms.
