I have an absess that i think has infected my sinus because i'm feeling pain in my cheek and temple. i'm taking penicillin .....should i see a dentist?

Abscess: If a dentist prescribed the antibiotics, then yet you should discuss your symptoms with that dentist. If you placed yourself on the antibiotics, there's even more reason to see a dentist as you need definitive treatment for the abscess- Antibiotics alone will not rid you of the abscess. Your dentist might also suggest you see a physician if he/she thinks it necessary.

Abscess: Antibiotics will not cure a severe tooth infection, an abscess. Antibiotics will moderate the spread of infection until the pills run out. So call a General Dentist, a specialist a Endodontist, or a specialist Oral Surgeon and make an appoint to be seen before the pills run out.
