Right abdominal: If recurrent right lower abdominal pain occurs in a male patient with prior appendectomy, possibilities include adhesions, inflammation of the intestinal tract(ileitis,diverticulitis) or hernia. See your physician or go to the emergency room if there is severe or persistent pain or cramps, tenderness or abdominal distension or vomiting.
