A member asked:

Can epinephrine, or other stimulant chemicals found in pseudoephedrine disrupt sodium channels in the blood vessels? thanks very much

? what you mean by: "disrupt." All neurotransmitters work by activating a variety of channels in cell membranes, turning them on or turning them off, or modulating the intensity of the response. Sodium and potassium channels are generally activated in tandem by epinephrine and other stimulant neurotransmitters, changing cell polarity and resulting in neurotransmission. This isn't disruption - its their activity.
