Depends: How do you know it's your small intestines and not your gallbladder/liver/pancreas/stomach or anything else? Abdominal pain can be difficult to figure out without an exam. If the pain is getting worse, you are running fevers, or associated with prolonged vomiting you need to see a doctor. http://www.everydayhealth.com/pain-management/whats-causing-your-stomach-pain.aspx

Abdominal discomfort: Abdominal discomfort can occur for many reasons, not just for problems with the small intestine. If this is an ongoing problem or if it is acutely severe, then you should be seen by your doctor or an emergency room to sort it out. If it lasts longer than a day or two, or if it is getting worse, please seek care promptly. Good luck.
