Possibly.: If you meant right colonic swelling, then that can cause pain in the general area of the appendix, since the appendix is attached to the beginning of the right colon. If you do have swelling and inflammation in that area, you should be seen by a gastroenterologist to ascertain why the inflammation is present, and to rule out inflammatory bowel disease.
