But, in men, it is very difficult to get a urinary tract infection and much more easily and likely to get a sexually transmitted disease. Either way you need to be seen by your medical advisor.

Several: The usual treatment of a urinary tract infection involves a prescription antibiotic. Some of the most commonly prescribed are bactrim, (sulfamethoxazole and trimethoprim) macrobid, and ciprofloxacin. Some over the counter remedies you may also use in conjunction, with limited efficacy, are Azo products and cranberry supplements. Good luck.
