It's ok...: This is a common occurrence after a blood draw/injection/IV. It will fade away in a few leeks like any bruise. If it starts to hurt worse or have redness that is spreading see your doctor.

YES: Trigger point injections typically involve disrupting myofascia and muscles that are in spasm. The dry needling done during the injection can cause bruising. it is normal, very common and should resolve if that is all you are experiencing. Hope that helps!
