A member asked:

I have wheezing and rattling in my lungs when i breathe. i'm feeling lightheaded, especially after i blow my nose. eh...why? i've been sick for a week

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Doctor can evaluate: It's hard to tell if the "wheezing" is an asthma symptom without an exam. The doctor can listen to the heart and lungs while the patient is breathing in and out, and while the patient is lying down, sitting up, or standing up. Wheezing is the noise made when air flows out of the lungs, traveling through bronchi when they have mucus or some other obstruction. Prescription medication may be needed.
