A member asked:

I had an hiv test for my pre natal check up. i had a non reactive result for hbv. can i stil hve positive result on hiv? i only hve 1 partner

Yes: HIV disease and HBV disease are two completely different diseases. They are unrelated, which means a test for one has nothing to do with a test for the other. If no risk factors for such diseases, then no worries. One can just go over the results at the next prenatal visit. Young people should not have HBV disease, because babies have been vaccinated since the 1980's, unless they missed the shots.
