Liver cancer hi bili: 52 M notes: Liver cancer Bilirubin 10.81 & no obstruted bile ducts.Does this mean liver is failing?What can be life expectncy of 70 yrs old male in this condition. ANS: You mean no obstructed big bile ducts such as from gall bladder? It is not possible to make reasonable prognosis without knowing more. Happy to do 2nd opinion.
