Should ur cervix be high soft n closed 3-5 days before your expected period?

Why?: Depends on whether you have had children, but I am not sure why this would be an issue at all for a nonpregnant woman. I would only be concerned if cervix is so low that it is near the entrance to the vaginal. Sounds normal to this gynecologist though.
