Vomitting: You can take it now, with Food. Taking meds after vomiting is only NOT Recommended if you are still nauseous and vomiting as the medication may be vomited and not absorbed, etc. 48 hours after your episode should be fine, but the possible Side effect of Ibuprofen is GI upset , so as stated, it is best ot take it with food.
