Yes, but your period: may more irregular for a while and you should not rely on BCP for pregnancy protection until you have completed one cycle if you start immediately. Either way, your periods may be irregular for a month or more just from the hormone change with the morning after pill. Also, barrier protection like condoms are recommended for infection protection that you don't get with the pill

Can start anytime: Usual to start OCPs on the first day of menses however they can be started at anytime. However if you do this your cycles will change. Also note that taking the morning after pill can change your menstrual cycle. If starting at anytime, use backup contraception such as condoms for the first cycle of OCPs.
