I got a fast heart rate after drinking alcohol how can i slow it down and why does it happen?

The fast heart rate: probably occurs as a physiological response to the vasodilatation caused by the alcohol. It should slow down naturally as the alcohol metabolizes out of your system. You could try hydrating significantly before drinking or drinking less alcohol.
