Sinusitis.: Amoxicillin, assuming it will work (as there are better antibiotic choices these days), should be taken for fourteen days. Typically these infections are bacterial, so the antibiotic is needed. If you're not feeling better after five days of Amoxicillin, please revisit your doctor for consideration of another antibiotic.
