Oral contraceptives: Most oral contraceptives have three weeks of active pills and one week of reminder pills to keep in the habit of taking a pill every day at the same time. It is best to take the reminder pills but if you miss one after having taken the ACTIVE pills as directed and on time, you will remain protected. Try to take the pill at the same time each day.
