A member asked:

My tubes have been tied for 13 years since 2003, in 2010 i got pregnant and lost it, but i want a baby but can't afford the reversal procedure. how ca?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Permanent decision: Getting "tubes tied" (tubal ligation) is PERMANENT, and done for women who will never want to get pregnant again in the future (meaning a permanent decision of no more pregnancies, forever). Tubes are not meant to be untied. That said, pregnancy may be possible by using techniques such as in-vitro fertilization (IVF).
