A member asked:

What would your eye look like without a cornea? if the cornea of a donor's eye is removed for transplant, would the donor's eye appear blurry?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Misunderstood : Corneas are necessary for vision. Cornea transplants are only performed from a cadaver (dead person) to a recipient. Living people need their corneas and do not, can not donate them.
